To help anyone that is suffering from an illness and needs assistance to help lift some of the weight that is on them.
To be able to lend a helping hand to all counties in North Carolina.
In June 2016, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I had triple negative breast cancer in my right breast and ER positive breast cancer in my left breast. The first thing I told God was “this can’t happen to me”.
I was out of work from June 2016 to April 2017, but by Grace and Mercy blessings were given unto me. However, I know the stress of worrying about paying your bills, taking care of your family that solely depends on you, and focusing on getting healthy. I also know how it feels when no one is able to help you financially and you are in a state where you can’t even help yourself. This test has made me stronger, more determined and given me courage to be the voice of so many people who don’t have a voice of their own.
Even though I am a breast cancer survivor, my mission is to help not only people with breast cancer but anyone that is suffering from an illness and needs assistance to help lift some of the weight that is on them. After going through my ordeal I knew that my purpose was to give back to the community. One thing that I realized was that Lee County and some surrounding areas didn’t have many resources that would benefit the sick. So I decided to start my non-profit foundation.
I know that I can’t help everyone or save the world but, if I can help one person then I have been a good stewardess.
My grandmother instilled in me that love was an action word and taught me
Matthew 7:12 that says “So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you”. NIV
Your support and contributions will lift the burden of so many people. Your generous donation will fund our mission.
